My artistic talents and recently read books

Hi. My name is Lisa. I love to do ceramics and crafts and hobbies. I have done many projects in ceramics which include hedgehogs, totem poles, angels, Santa Claus figurines, an Native Indian Women holding her baby, and many more. I love to be creative, and use different types of paints including glaze paints and acryllic paints. I also love to use a technique called dry brushing because I love the way it brings out the details of a project.

I also love to do woodworking. I like to build bird houses and birdfeeders. I use only a hammer, nails, screws and stains, since I am not comfortable with power tools.

I also love to do various crafts and use my creativity on them. I recently did a stained glass piece which turned out very nicely. I also like to rug hooking, since I find it easy and fun; and I am also not a knitter or crochet person.

With books I have recently read three very good books. Two were by Lavryle Spencer. One was called The Endearment and the other was called Home Song. I also just finished a book called Where Yesterday Lives, but I can't remember the author's name right now.
